FlowDeck streams OSLog output from running apps in real time in the Console panel. No Console.app, no log stream commands.

Opening the Console

Toggle the Console with ⌘⇧Y, or click the console button in the top-right toolbar. The Console appears at the bottom of the window.

Filtering logs

Use the Filter field in the Console header to filter by keyword. Only matching log lines are shown, updated in real time.

Log levels

Click the Log Levels button (eye icon) to open the level picker. Toggle individual levels on or off:
  • Debug
  • Info
  • Warning
  • Error
All enabled levels are shown together — mix and match as needed.

Metadata columns

Click the Metadata button to toggle which columns are visible alongside the log message:
  • Type
  • Timestamp
  • Category

Follow latest

Click the Follow Latest button (arrow-down icon) to keep the Console scrolled to the most recent log entry. Disable it to scroll back through history while the app continues logging.

Clearing the Console

Click Clear Console in the Console header to clear the current log buffer. Incoming logs continue streaming after clearing.

Hiding the Console

Click Hide Console in the header or press ⌘⇧Y again to collapse the Console. Logs continue streaming in the background.

Troubleshooting

No logs appearing

Make sure the app is running. If built in Release configuration, some debug-level logs may be stripped — switch to a Debug build and make sure Debug is enabled in the Log Levels picker.

Log output is very noisy

Use the Filter field to narrow to a keyword, or deselect Debug in the Log Levels picker to see only Info, Warning, and Error entries.
