Record a simulator video
simulator record. Without --duration it records until you press Ctrl+C.
# Show usage examples
flowdeck simulator record --examples
# Record until Ctrl+C, save to ~/Desktop
flowdeck simulator record
# Record a fixed 10 seconds
flowdeck simulator record --duration 10s
# HEVC encoding, choose the output folder, target a simulator
flowdeck simulator record --duration 5s --codec hevc --output ~/Movies -S "iPhone 16"

--output <folder> | -o | Output folder (default ~/Desktop); the filename is generated automatically |
--simulator <sim> | -S | Simulator name or UDID (defaults to the booted simulator) |
--duration <Ns> | -t | Recording duration, e.g. 10s (default: until Ctrl+C) |
--codec <codec> | Video codec: h264 or hevc | |
--display <display> | Display to capture when multiple are attached: internal or external | |
--json | -j | Output as JSON |
--verbose | -v | Show detailed output |
--examples | -e | Show usage examples |
